Entrepreneurs With Disabilities

- Require technical and financial assistance in starting or operating a business?
If so, Community Futures Tawatinaw Region can help. The Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP) is designed to assist individuals with disabilities in starting or expanding their own business.
The objective of the Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program is to provide individuals with disabilities with access to:
- A repayable loan of up to $150,000.00
- Business counselling
- Training and support to establish or expand a business
Our EDP Business Consultant can assist you in:
- Developing a plan for your business
- Using resources to research your product or service
- Providing information on licensing and regulations
- Applying for a loan to start or expand your business
Funds from the repayable loan can be used for:
- E-business ventures
- Starting or expanding a business
- Purchasing and applying new technology
- Upgrading facilities and equipment
- Developing marketing and promotional materials
- Establishing working capital for anticipated sales increases
