Our Board is comprised of 12 volunteers, each appointed for three years. There is representation from all across the Tawatinaw Region.
Our Articles of Association state that:
A Director shall be a person over the age of 18 years appointed as follows:
- One Director shall be appointed by each of the County of Athabasca or any municipality within the County of Athabasca boundaries; the County of Thorhild or any municipality within the County of Thorhild boundaries; Sturgeon County or any municipality within Sturgeon County boundaries; the County of Westlock or any municipality within the County of Westlock boundaries or specified areas of MD 124;
- Two Directors shall be appointed by any two municipalities within the Region, and
- Six Directors shall be appointed by the Board of Directors of the Company.
